Title of the
Case:
The Young Change
Agents
Problems:
- What practices in the case would be
helpful to apply in your organization?
- How might you modify the practices
in the case to better suit your organization?
- What did you learn overall from the
case?
Objectives:
- To determine the helpful practices
in the case that would be applicable in my organization;
- To adjust the practices in the case
to better suit my organization; and
- To enumerate what I discovered and
realized from the case.
Areas of Consideration:
- Type of Organization
- Culture of the
Organization
- People in the
Organization
Answer:
- There are two helpful
practices in the case that would be applicable in my organization, to wit:
- Leadership Roles
- Networking
- The leadership roles
described in the case could be adapted in my organization. The said leadership takes on challenges
and opportunities that come in the way while networking with other
organization to save cost and to get the best of the opportunity. Since the government is in its
cost-cutting measures, it would be best to apply networking to get the
aimed target for the year of the organization while saving cost
spearheaded by a leader who is willing to take the chance and showed
prowess for networking.
- The important
realizations I discovered from the case are the following:
- Networking is one of
the best strategies that should be applied in a government agency that
renders services to its clientele to save its cost of operation while
delivering its services; and
- A leader knows how to
get what is best out of what is given in a situation.
