For any
organization to run successfully, the following process of organizational
development were observed in order for any organization to survive:
1. Planned change - the process starts when one or more key managers or
administrators sense that their organization, departments, or group could be
improved or has problems that can be resolved with organization
development.
2. Diagnosis - the process of assessing the functioning of the
organization, department, group, or job
to discover the source of problems and areas for improvement.
3. Collection of data – can be collected through questionnaires,
interviews, observations among others.
4. Analysis of data - provides an open forum to discuss data, relevant
conclusions, and preliminary action plans.
5. Intervention - a sequence of activities, actions, and events
intended to help an organization improve its performance and
effectiveness.
6. Evaluation - provides feedback about the progress and impact of intervention. This also consists of making a particular
change to a permanent part of the organization that persists over time.
